Cleveland Stadium Redevelopment

“Stadium of the Future

As part of the project team for the Cleveland Lakefront Redevelopment Plan, our team assisted Haslam Sports and the Cleveland Browns in initial programming, planning, feasibility assessment, and design efforts for the redevelopment of Huntington Bank Field. This concept envisions a 100-year plan for the lakefront, anchored by a unique modernization of the Cleveland Browns’ home-field.

Our concept sees the stadium as a central part of the revitalized downtown through the incorporation of several mixed-use development sites. Various uses for this development as incorporated with the stadium would include approximately 2.7 acres of plaza / open space, 7,500 SF of retail, 7,500 SF of restaurants, and a 300-key hotel directly adjacent to the stadium.

This concept also envisions the stadium being encompassed by a new shell and partial roof, incorporating new fan amenities, spectator seating, food service and retail opportunities, circulation areas, and back-of-house facilities within this scheme. The Stadium also opens up to provide the optimum experience of the downtown arcade and waterfront.
