Darwin Cove

A new tropical destination

Darwin Cove is a $1 billion live-work-play mixed use development on the Darwin waterfront. 1,200 apartments overlook  the mile-long waterfront featuring a 2,200 ft long sea wall impounding a 10 acre seawater body with swimming lagoon, a beach and wave pool and shady parklands.

The focal point of the project is the Convention and Exhibition Center which includes 43,000 SF of exhibition space with a 1,500 seat, tiered plenary hall. A cruise ship terminal, two hotels and a number of restaurants are connected to the city’s downtown by a pedestrian link. Public art and heritage interpretation are found throughout the development.

Leading up to this milestone the NT Government, Darwin Waterfront Board and Management team and our project partners shared a clear vision for the Waterfront Precinct, transforming an industrial wasteland into a vibrant destination that has become a mecca for locals and tourists alike. Reaching such a milestone could never have been achieved without the enormous contributions by both the public and the private sector.
